Having my own space at Origins Market is the best thing I've ever done. I meet the most beautiful people. Having my own space means I can really take the time to get to know my customers, I learn their stories, I can create their pieces in front of them at my stall and they become part of the process

As a local, I knew I wanted to be part of Origins as soon as I saw the brochure, but I also knew that as a dairy farmer I couldn’t work four days a week. Having sold my products at markets for eight years, I had enough contacts to build a co-op sharing the opportunity and the workload with local women. We started with five in November, were up to 12 by January and 30 by June 2022.
